STEP 19 - LOVE YOUR SKIN

broken image

How about a little SKIN CARE?

Essential Oils can be a great tool in soothing and comforting irritated, injured skin, and even help reduce bacteria which can cause skin abruptions. All it takes is a few drops, and some items you most likely already have in your home, to have a natural alternative to your skin care regimen.

REFRESHING FACIAL MASK RECIPE

• 1 tbsp. Raw Honey

• 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 2 drops Melaleuca Essential Oil

• Bentonite Clay Powder

In a small glass bowl, combine Honey and Essential Oils. Add Bentonite Clay a little at a time until you have a paste-like consistency. Apply to face in small, circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes or until mask is dry and hardened. TIP: if you do not have Bentonite Clay on hand, the recipe can still be used without it: just remember, as the Honey warms to your body temperature, it will cause the recipe to thin and run, so be cautious around the eye area when applying. Rinse mask with warm water and pat dry. Store remaining mask mixture in a small glass jar and keep in the refrigerator until next use.

CUTS AND SCRAPES ROLLER BOTTLE BLEND RECIPE

• 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 5 drops Melaleuca Essential Oil

• 3 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

• Fractionated Coconut Oil

Combine all ingredients in a 15ml roller bottle. Shake well before each use. Apply to mild cuts and scrapes prior to bandaging.
